Keep football alive in Brentford

Commenting on recent proposals for redevelopment of the Griffin Park site prospective councillor Andrew Dakers has commented:

"Brentford FC has a long history in our area and provides our community with a strong heart and cultural identity that reaches well beyond Brentford's borders.

"We believe that the Council must make it a priority to find a way of making the Draft Planning Brief's Option 1, the Griffin Park site remaining home of a stadium, a reality. This should be explored through a feasibility study produced in co-operation with the Football Club."
