Roger Crouch, Liberal Democrat candidate for the Feltham & Heston by-election and neighbouring Twickenham MP Vince Cable have welcomed news that graze.com is planning to more than triple its work force in the next 2-3 years.

One of the UK's fastest growing food company's, graze.com was launched in 2009 and now employs almost 200 people, 135 at its production site in Feltham.

The factory is responsible for everything from procurement, buying, manufacturing, picking, packing, box making, sorting and sending.

The company's success and ambitious growth plans mean they aim to more than triple its work force over the next 2-3 years, potentially creating hundreds of more jobs for local people.

Lib Dem candidate Roger Crouch said: "The private sector, particularly entrepreneurial businesses, are key to our future economic growth and prosperity and we have seen here this morning at graze.com a perfect example of that in practice."

Vince Cable MP added: "It has been amazing to see the incredible innovation and sheer determination in the development of this cutting-edge manufacturing facility. I hope the company will be a driver of growth both locally and nationally through this difficult economic time."
